Dr. Vail has more than 20 years of experience in education, all in Chesapeake Public Schools. He began his career as a Social Studies teacher at Western Branch High School and continued as a teacher at Great Bridge Middle School. After 8 years as a classroom teacher, Dr. Vail became a school administrator. He served in the role of assistant principal at the Chesapeake Center for Student Success, Oscar Smith Middle School, and Grassfield High School. For the past 3.5 years, Dr. Vail has served as the Director of Communications.

Dr. Vail holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Lynchburg, a Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Virginia Polytechnic and State University, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from The George Washington University. 

Mr. Graham has 21 years of experience in education, all in Chesapeake Public Schools. He currently serves as a Digital Media Specialist for Broadcast Media in the Communications Department. Mr. Graham taught middle school English, science, and history for 9 years. His utilization of technology in the classroom naturally led him to the role of Technology Integration Specialist, for which he served for 10 years. As a Technology Integration Specialist, he was named the 2021 Great Bridge Middle School Teacher of the Year and also awarded the 2021 Chesapeake Public Schools Middle School Teacher of the Year. Over the course of his career, Mr. Graham has contributed to and led the implementation efforts of various school and district-wide initiatives.

Mr. Graham holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from Longwood University and a Master of Arts in Education, Curriculum, and Instruction in Instructional Technology from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
